[00:00:34] A presentation that was given recently to a number of media and content creators. It wasn't Jez, I promise it wasn't Jez. And they've given it to us. So without further ado in this special report, I'm going to play for you the new profession coming in midnight, Realtors. My name is Carly Reeves. I'm a senior developer on the World of Warcraft Professions team.
[00:01:04] And I am thrilled to tell you all about our newest profession that's coming in the World of Warcraft, Midnight Expansion. Realtors! It's been several expansions since we last added a new profession. And we've heard the player base loud and clear that it was time for something new. With the upcoming edition of Player Housing in Midnight, we knew it would be a natural fit to create more opportunities to engage with this feature. And a great time to introduce a new profession. With the Realtor profession, players will become the real estate baron of their dreams.
[00:01:33] As the nexus point between their neighborhood, other players' neighborhoods, and the plots of land that each of them truly desire. Want to be closer to that waterfall? A Realtor can help you out. Want to be closer to that sea cliff plot with the incredible sunrises, but it already has a residence? Let your Realtor negotiate that plot for you, with the player who currently holds it. And best yet, you will decide your own commission rates for each sale and start raking in the gold!
[00:02:01] Unlike other professions, this one will require a few, let's call them, educational achievements. Which ensures that only the most qualified players are allowed to engage in these sales. Best of all, if you choose to be a Realtor, you won't have to drop an existing profession to do it. [00:02:25] So there you have it. An odd choice, I would say. We'll obviously talk more about this, but Realtors coming related to player housing. Can't say I'm all that surprised, given that this is going to be a huge feature. And so adding kind of a weird third profession slot. Something rather unique for them.
[00:02:50] Yeah, it's definitely different. It sounds like there'll be some negotiating involved and getting a perfect plot in your neighborhood. And these folks with this profession will be in the middle. I wonder what those educational requirements are going to look like. But yeah, definitely a strange one. Not one that I saw.
